We are seeking a highly skilled Trusts and Estates Professional to join The Recruitment Council team. This is a senior role within the fiduciary industry, requiring a strong understanding of estate planning, trust administration, and will drafting.
About the RoleThis position involves working closely with high-net-worth individuals, families, and select institutions to provide comprehensive fiduciary services. Key responsibilities include advising clients on the establishment and structuring of new trusts, managing ongoing trust administrations, developing personalized wills and estate plans, and acting as executor for client estates.
Key Responsibilities:- Advise clients on trust establishment and structuring, ensuring compliance with legal and administrative requirements.
- Manage trust administrations, working closely with fiduciary administrators to ensure proper governance and compliance.
- Develop and draft customized wills and estate plans, offering strategic advice tailored to clients' specific needs.
- Act as executor of estates, coordinating the estate administration process and liaising with relevant teams for smooth execution.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing fiduciary advisory services.
- Essential: LLB degree or other relevant academic qualification.
- Advantageous: A tax qualification and/or FPSA designation (or ability to obtain it).
- Minimum 5 years experience in the fiduciary industry, with proven track record in estate planning and trust management.
- Familiarity with company administration is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in an understandable way.
The estimated salary range for this position is £60,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
