Status Staffing is seeking a skilled Sales and Service Professional to join our team. As a Salesperson, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of R 8,800 per month, plus commission. In addition to a rewarding salary, you will also enjoy a range of benefits, including access to ongoing training and development opportunities.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Interaction

Your primary focus will be on building strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and providing personalized solutions. You will answer calls in a polite and friendly manner, understand products thoroughly, and conduct necessary research to ensure accurate product recommendations.

To achieve this, you will engage with customers, ask relevant questions, and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products. You will also work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless customer service.

Quotations and Orders

You will be responsible for conducting item searches on the system effectively, saving and verifying all quotes daily, and ensuring accuracy and proper documentation. You will also create sales orders referring to previous quotes, ensuring customer names are in the reference column.

In addition, you will book all orders before leaving for the day and complete all quotes before breaks, ensuring timely and efficient processing.

Delivery and Collections

As part of your duties, you will ensure payment is received before stock leaves the warehouse, communicate with dispatch regarding delivery or collection details, and handle proof of payments and inform dispatch of collection details.

Return and Claim Process

You will process returns by verifying customer details, return reasons, and invoice dates, as well as handle claims by inspecting products, communicating with customers, and re-invoicing for replacements.

Research and Promotion

You will research new items monthly based on customer inquiries and promote new and daily items to customers to increase sales.

Compliance and Procedures

You will adhere to dress code guidelines, maintain a neat appearance, and follow company policies regarding breaks, leave, and emergency situations.

Evaluation Criteria

Your performance will be evaluated based on attendance and punctuality, sales performance and target achievement, consistency in client contact and team collaboration, responsibility and attitude towards tasks, and quality and pride in work.

Working Hours

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:30, and Saturdays, 08:00-13:00.
