We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Experiential Marketing Associate to join our team in Sub-Saharan Africa. As a key member of our content marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative experiential marketing strategies that drive brand presence and storytelling across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead on-the-ground experiential brand projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring creative ideas to life.
  • Collaborate with Spotify SSA teams, including Media, Music, Podcasts, and Comms, as well as global teams, to drive key projects forward.
  • Drive brand presence experientially through authentic and fresh experiences within creative communities, collectives, and emerging cultures.
  • Prepare pitches, presentations, and ideation documents for new experiential activity within the region.
  • Project-plan the activation and content from ideation to creation and distribution, including management of calendars and budgets, marketing plans, and reporting.
  • Oversee production standards & delivery on all activations, experiential marketing, and content marketing projects, ensuring efficient financial planning and resource allocation.
  • Display execution mastery to deliver impactful brand presence and storytelling at scale, with a strong focus on cross-cultural communications and problem-solving.
  • Analyze the music & podcast business, category, culture, and consumer to provide innovative solutions that meet internal quality standards.
  • Lead all aspects of project management from brief to delivery, ensuring Spotify design standards are met on all brand, content, and activations produced.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7-8 years' proven experience across multiple markets in SSA, with a strong track record of delivering successful experiential marketing projects.
  • Ability to navigate complex partner networks and ambiguous environments, with excellent project management, problem-solving, critical thinking, negotiation, innovation, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Extensive experience building, leading, and handling a production and creative partner network, with a strong understanding of the broader digital media landscape.
