We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Marketing to join our team at SurTech. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our marketing strategy across Africa, driving business growth and revenue through effective marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to achieve business objectives and drive sales accepted leads.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing marketing team, providing guidance and feedback to ensure the team's success.
  • Identify and plan differentiated and impactful marketing strategies and materials to meet different targeted audience requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, clients, business partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage marketing budget and expenditure, ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Direct and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports.
  • Work closely with the sales department to align sales and marketing strategies.
  • Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels.
  • Identify competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning, devising counterstrategies to stay ahead.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of market research and analysis.
  • Experience with enterprise-level email marketing and automation tools, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement / Hubspot.
  • Experience working with a CRM tool such as Salesforce and reporting marketing successes from Salesforce.
  • Experience and knowledge working with audiences in sub-Saharan Africa would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience updating website content for WordPress websites.
