The South African National Blood Service is looking for a Community Blood Drive Coordinator to coordinate blood drives in local communities. The successful candidate will work closely with the clinic supervisor, assist with setting up and packing up of the blood drive, and promote knowledge sharing among staff.

Main Responsibilities
  • Makes contact with the blood drive controller/peer promoters and confirms that all arrangements are in order.
  • Displays advertising material and directional arrows to enhance visibility of the blood drive.
  • Receives and welcomes blood donors on their arrival at the blood drive and puts them at ease to ensure a good donation experience.
  • Promotes all campaigns to donors and provides feedback to the Donor Relations Practitioner.
