About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director to lead our Leisure Sales team at HotelJobs. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue through strategic planning, relationship building, and effective sales execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and grow the leisure business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the leisure industry
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and provide coaching and guidance to ensure high levels of performance
  • Collaborate with other departments, including Front Office, Reservations, and Banqueting, to identify and pursue sales opportunities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the leisure market, including trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Provide regular sales updates and insights to the Director of Sales and other stakeholders
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations
  • Develop and implement sales processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective sales execution
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and revenue through strategic planning and effective sales execution
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of the leisure market, including trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Ability to analyze sales performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
