Key Responsibilities
  • Product Roadmap: Assist in creating and managing our product roadmap, ensuring alignment with our OnePage Strategic Plan (OPSP).
  • Product Development: Work with the Product Manager and CPO to translate the product roadmap into a development schedule, optimizing our ways of working.
  • Customer Insights: Provide information to the Product Team based on our hoteliers' needs, sales teams, and marketing team, translating these insights into product solutions that deliver value.
  • Competitor Analysis: Understand the financial and commercial impact of our competitors and their features.
  • Project Management: Be responsible for project managing how we scope and design new features, products, and use cases.
  • Innovation: Provide innovative solutions according to sprints and the OPSP.
  • Trend Analysis: Provide information on trends in the hotel tech industry and how they impact product development.
  • Operational Efficiency: On a day-to-day basis, work with the CPO on decision-making, providing facts for operational efficiency and ensuring thereof.
  • Product Stability: Ensure the stability of our product is adhered to at all times.
  • Strategy and Execution: Balance the strategy and expected outcomes.
  • Agile Approach: Ensure that the Product Team follows our agile approach.
  • Team Building: Build an in-house Product Team that is resilient and hands-on.
  • Leadership: Lead, mentor, and build a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact and relevance to our business.

Requirements

About You:

  • Qualifications/Experience:

  • Worked in a SaaS company with revenue over 20 Million ARR

  • Experience working in a bootstrapped environment

  • Has strategically hired and built in-house product & engineering teams

  • Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies

  • Team Squad experience and experience in structuring a team according to a tech scaleup

  • International experience; Europe and Africa

  • Proven experience in software development and technical leadership roles

  • Worked with Product Manager(s) and understands the functionality

  • Experience in ensuring team efficiency and management
