We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator to join our team at Dynamic Outsourced Solutions. As a Sewing Machine Operator, you will be responsible for constructing and altering attire and other pieces using sewing machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Decide on appropriate sewing techniques before work commences.
  • Meet with consumers and inspect patterns to determine each job's requirements.
  • Perform alterations to existing patterns or create new ones.
  • Select suitable thread and place it onto the spool spin.
  • Cutting, sewing, and gluing fabric according to the requirements of each article.
  • Affix buttons, zippers, clasps, laces, and similar fittings.
  • Operate the foot pedal, plus the stitch length and width regulators, as you sew.
  • Replace the sewing machine's needle, as required.
  • Detect and repair basic faults with the sewing machine as they occur.
  • Schedule repairs for the sewing machine and its fittings, as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Completion of a sewing course is preferred.
  • Demonstratable experience as a sewing machine operator.
  • Ability to create, read, and follow patterns.
  • Working knowledge of sewing machine mechanics.
  • Outstanding eyesight or utilization of corrective measures.
  • Innovative, thoughtful, and attentive to detail.
  • Top-notch interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage your time effectively.
