Executive Placings is currently seeking a seasoned Reservations Manager to spearhead our reservations team and serve as a key account sales driver. This hybrid role is based in Cape Town and offers a negotiable salary package commensurate with experience, along with benefits.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain strong relationships with clients and deliver on sales targets in line with business expectations.
- Monitor the accuracy of quotes and operations generated by the team.
- Ensure daily operational excellence.
- Oversee workload distribution and conduct regular quotation checks.
- Create cost and margin awareness within the team.
- Lead the team to achieve set goals and foster a high level of motivation and team spirit.
- Be approachable and supportive, demonstrating excellent communication skills and customer care.
- Possess a deep understanding of cost, profit, net, and gross selling prices.
- Stay aware of competitor products.
- Occasionally travel for educational and familiarization trips to Southern Africa, reporting back and providing training to the team.
Requirements:
- Experience leading a Reservations Team for an inbound tour company or destination management company.
- Excellent knowledge of Southern and East Africa.
- Tourplan and Wetu proficiency.
