Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Dimension Data.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients, including monitoring client infrastructure and solutions, identifying problems and errors, and investigating first-line incidents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor client infrastructure and solutions to identify potential issues
  • Investigate first-line incidents and identify root causes
  • Provide telephonic or chat support to clients as required
  • Execute approved maintenance activities, including patching and configuration changes
  • Report and escalate incidents as necessary

Requirements

  • Diploma, degree, or relevant qualification in IT/Computing
  • Demonstrated work experience in a similar role
  • Advantageous certifications: ITIL, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate - MCSA, Azure Cloud Certification, AWS Cloud Certification, VMware & Hyper-V, SCCM & SCOM, IP, WINS, DHCP, DNC, MS-Office, 0365, MS-Windows, MS-Active Directory, MS-Windows Server, MS-Exchange Server, Backup Certification, Cisco Certified Network Associate - CCNA, Security Certification
