HSE Controller Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled HSE Controller to oversee security operations and ensure effective control measures are in place. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management and be able to implement an effective Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment programme.

Responsibilities
  • Manage security operations, access control, and emergency response plans.
  • Perform incident investigations and identify root causes.
  • Liaise with Emergency Services and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Oversee the site's safety and environmental meetings and standards.
  • Responsible for contractor management and ensuring compliance with OSHACT and ISO14001 standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of Grade 12.
  • Relevant National Diploma or Degree highly advantageous.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and risk control standards.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and facilitate.
  • Strong investigative and initiating skills.
  • Ability to perform risk assessments and work independently under pressure.
