**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Gap Consulting. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue through strategic planning, negotiation, and relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, dealerships, and other stakeholders to drive business growth.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales plans and strategies.
  • Manage and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, legislation, and best practices to ensure compliance and competitiveness.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of success.
  • Ability to handle an average of 20 new and pre-owned units per month.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Matric certificate or equivalent.
  • NQF 4 retail or short-term insurance qualification with a minimum of 120 FAIS credits.
  • RE accreditation, NCA accreditation, and CPD hours up to date.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle legislation, trade practices, and dealership policies and procedures.
