Senior Financial Services Coordinator

The Recruitment Council
is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Wealth Adviser Assistant to join Their prestigious, forward-thinking financial services firm in the industry. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in both spoken and written English, and possess strong computer literacy.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work with a team of experienced professionals and make a real impact on clients' financial futures. The successful candidate will be responsible for office management and administration, interacting with clients by managing relationships and providing client services. You will ensure new business implementation, marketing plan implementation and reception duties, as well as compile policy information, gather details of transactions, and maintain CRM system records.
The job involves preparing investment review appointments, arranging meetings between Wealth Adviser and Clients, loading new/existing business policies, and ensuring FAIS Compliance. In addition, you will handle client enquiries, manage diary management for new and existing business cases, rebalance and maintain existing portfolios, and prepare and distribute monthly/quarterly statements. You will also build and maintain good working relationships, record details of transactions, and maintain Service Level agreement deadlines.
We are looking for a highly competent individual who has completed a BCom Degree (preferably majoring in Information Systems, Analytics and Investment Planning/Risk Management) or BCom (Economics). Previous experience in the financial services industry, particularly in paraplanning, is advantageous. Strong technical and administrative skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Excel, are essential. As a key member of our team, you will require excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Completed BCom Degree (preferably majoring in Information Systems, Analytics and Investment Planning/Risk Management) or BCom (Economics)
- 0-2 Year experience in the financial services industry
- Paraplanning experience is advantageous
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and at least one other of the official South African languages
- Strong Computer literacy (MS Office) Highly competent in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong technical and administrative skills
Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is R150,000 - R200,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical aid, retirement fund contributions, and annual bonuses.-
