**About the Role**

Ashton personnel is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Governance & Compliance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing regulatory and governance risks to the Group, ensuring controls are in place to manage resources, and interpreting information to monitor investor files and implement strategies.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage regulatory and governance risks to the Group
* Ensure controls are in place to manage resources
* Interpret information to monitor investor files and implement strategies
* Lead the company Secretariat team
* Draft operational procedures and formulate strategies
* Ensure compliance for the Group and issue reports

**Requirements**

* Degree in commercial law or business and management sciences required
* Sound experience in a Corporate Governance Advisory role
* Knowledge of anti-money laundering and FATCA essential
* Familiarity with Automatic exchange of information (AEOI) and the POPI Act
* Good command of the Companies Act and related legislation and King IV

**What We Offer**

* R1.17 million per annum CTC (increase due within the year)
* Rosebank based

**Note**

Knowledge of the mining industry would be a great advantage.
