Position Overview
As a Commercial Insurance Consultant, you will deliver exceptional direct sales service that drives the acquisition of business from both new and existing clients, significantly contributing to the profitability and expansion of Old Mutual.Key Responsibilities
Innovate and implement strategies to enhance your insurance portfolio. Seek out new clients through various methods including networking, cold-calling, and direct outreach. Oversee and enhance portfolio profitability by ensuring timely service and support for clients, including amendments, renewals, and claims. Conduct thorough risk assessments for clients. Offer tailored solutions by marketing non-life insurance products that meet client needs. Continuously expand your client base to ensure sustained portfolio growth. Identify and pursue cross-selling and upselling opportunities across all product lines. Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Maintain minimum required quote volumes and a favorable quote-to-sales ratio. Ensure adherence to agreed NTU and cancellation ratios. Execute after-sales service tasks for your assigned customer portfolio. Address and resolve escalated client inquiries and complaints promptly. Cultivate and manage client relationships, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements. Retain existing business, including conducting renewal discussions in accordance with established processes. Collaborate with other departments (underwriting, pricing, and claims) to identify process enhancements that improve customer experience. Effectively manage time and workloads to meet deadlines and targets.Commitment to Quality Service
Oversee the complete customer experience for both new and existing business, providing first-line support to resolve queries. Proactively recommend service improvements and foster strong relationships. Contribute to a service-oriented culture that encourages innovation and exceptional service delivery.Adherence to Cost Control and Governance

FAIS Compliant in Non-life Commercial product category.
A Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation is required.
