We are a dynamic company operating within the video marketing and content creation industry, specializing in producing engaging videos for social media and internal company communications.

As a Sales Representative/Video Project Coordinator at Salesworx, you will be responsible for driving business growth through lead generation, advising briefs, and video project coordination.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across targeted industries, utilizing data mining techniques, internet research, trade shows, LinkedIn networking, and Chamber of Commerce connections.
  • Collaborating with our Director to plan prospecting activities throughout the year, aligning with industry events and conferences.
  • Executing targeted email campaigns using specialized software, such as Brevo or ZOHO, to engage with segmented groups of prospects.
  • Analyzing campaign results and qualifying leads that show interest in our CRM system.
  • Cold-calling a selected group of leads and clients to establish connections, understand their market needs, and build trust.
  • Maintaining our client database on CRM, ensuring accurate information and seamless communication.
  • Obtaining clear briefs from clients and prospects, creating customized quotes by leveraging our video product templates and pricing structure.
  • Designing video structures, scripts, and storyboards with clients, tailoring content to meet their budget and objectives.
  • Coordinating filming logistics, booking filmmakers, and preparing production roadmaps.
  • Gathering graphics, selecting music and video assets, and obtaining client approvals.
  • Following up on productions to ensure rough cuts meet client expectations and adhere to our quality standards.
  • Edit and send invoices, ensuring timely payment processing.
  • Providing weekly progress reports to our Director, ensuring transparency and alignment with company goals.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales roles, with a proven track record of successful sales development.
  • Tertiary education in sales, marketing, or communication.
  • Prior experience working with decision-makers (Marketing managers, Communication managers) in target industries would be a significant advantage, enabling us to tap into new markets.
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with strong keyboard skills.
  • A resilient, hungry, and gritty approach to sales and customer engagement.
  • The ability to learn quickly, develop own skills through self-teaching (e.g., YouTube videos, research), and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
  • A strong interest in the audiovisual sector.
  • A creative mindset, allowing you to design videos after training, using our video templates under the supervision of our Director.
  • Excellent autonomy, interpersonal skills, and a desire to contribute to the growth of a small business.
  • Loyalty and willingness to grow with the project, taking on management roles as needed.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
