About the Role

Sagen Advisory Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Tax Administrator to join their team. As a Tax Administrator, you will be responsible for a wide range of tax-related tasks, including SARS objections, tax clearance applications, and income tax registrations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taxation, finance, or a related field, and will be a registered Tax Practitioner. You will be part of a dynamic team that values learning, problem-solving, and collaboration.

The role is based in Stellenbosch, but the company offers flexibility to accommodate individual circumstances. As a Tax Administrator, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in tax administration.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage SARS objections, disputes, and remittances
  2. Process tax clearance applications
  3. Assist with ceasing of SA residency for non-residence
  4. Register and deregister clients for income tax, VAT, and PAYE
  5. Verify SARS information
  6. Follow up on SARS communications
  7. Communicate with clients and respond to their queries
Requirements
  1. Degree in Taxation, Finance, or equivalent
  2. Registered Tax Practitioner
  3. Five years of experience in tax administration
