Operational Excellence Manager

Performability Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Operational Excellence Manager to drive business growth and improvement.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in operational management to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results-driven solutions, improving efficiency, and driving revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills, able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Analyzing productivity data and optimizing staffing and production capacity
- Designing new processes to improve quality or increase productivity or profitability
- Managing stock control and inventory checks
- Communicating changes in order processes to relevant parties
- Ensuring compliance to health and safety regulations
- Documenting procedures for third-party monitoring
- Creating and monitoring project and teams
- Reviewing workloads and manpower to ensure targets are met
- Supporting the Managing Executive or executive teams vision and strategy
- Managing departmental budgets
- Optimizing stock holding in line with stockholding targets
- Devising creative ways to unlock cash tied in inventory
- Resource teams adequately to achieve business and operational targets
- Managing the effective achievement of our client's group objectives through effective leadership, the setting of individual objectives, managing performance, and developing and motivating teams to maximize performance
- Building and managing a high-performing team by providing leadership, role clarity, training and career development
- Ensuring open communication channels with staff and implementing change management interventions where necessary
- Defining roles, responsibilities, individual goals and performance objectives for the team
- Setting KPIs and providing regular performance feedback through a well-defined and implemented performance review program within the business unit to achieve business targets
- Performance management resources in accordance with relevant policy and legislation
- Promoting a partnership approach to developing strong relationships with other working groups and ensuring adherence to Group governance
- Ensuring that appropriate governance systems are in place and in line with future requirements, i.e. policies, procedures and reporting structures
- Continually assessing the competitiveness of all operations programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries and markets
- Staying up to date of new trends and innovations in operations
- Managing business risk, through continuous internal and external monitoring of business impact, as well as changes in stakeholder needs
- Leading and guiding improvement projects that will increase profits or protect against risks in the function
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in an operational role with a demonstrated ability to manage and deliver on expectations
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a senior management role
The salary for this position is estimated at £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a comprehensive pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave entitlement.
