Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Health and Safety Management System (HSMS) to ensure compliance with OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Provide training and awareness programs for employees on Health and Safety procedures and protocols.
- Conduct site safety inductions and ensure that all employees, contractors, and visitors are aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Manage and maintain all Health and Safety records, including incident reports, training records, and audit reports.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to ensure a safe and effective response to emergencies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that Health and Safety is integrated into all aspects of the business.
- Monitor and review the effectiveness of the HSMS and make recommendations for improvements.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Health and Safety management.
- Proven track record of implementing and maintaining a HSMS.
- Strong knowledge of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent in Health and Safety Management.
