Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar context, with a strong understanding of the building materials industry and market dynamics. They will be responsible for marketing building materials, managing existing client relationships, and developing strategic account plans to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market and promote building materials to clients
- Manage and develop existing client relationships
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
- Manage contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions with the sales team
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Grade 12 certificate
- Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans
- Proven experience in a retail building industry context
- Strong accountability and passion for customer service
- Computer literacy
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar context
- Sound sales and account management skills with a proven track record of successfully managing key accounts and achieving revenue targets
- Established network and client base
- Clean driver's license
Salary: An estimated salary of R600,000 - R800,000 per annum, depending on experience.
