Job Description:

  2. Oversee accounts payable and receivable, adhering to company policies.
  3. Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and budgets.
  4. Regularly reconcile balance sheets and bank statements.
  5. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including VAT and tax.
  6. Assist with annual audits and liaise with auditors.
  7. Provide financial analysis and support to senior management.
  8. Maintain and monitor cash flow, performing financial forecasting.
  9. Supervise and train junior accounting staff as needed.
  10. Implement and maintain accounting systems and controls.

Requirements:

  1. Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting or finance.
  2. Proven experience in an accounting role at a motor dealership.
  3. Preferred experience with Pinnacle software.
  4. Grade 12 requirement.
  5. Strong understanding of dealership-specific accounting practices.
  6. Solid knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. High attention to detail and accuracy.
  10. Strong organizational and time management skills.
