As the Head of Animal Welfare, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, managing personnel and administrative needs, and contributing to the development of operational facilities and education programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Animal Welfare department, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and projects.
  • Manage personnel and administrative needs, including budget responsibilities and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with international colleagues on rescue missions, health and husbandry standards, and scientific projects.
  • Develop and implement operational facilities and education programs aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Network with external stakeholders to advance the department's goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in captive wildlife management, with a strong understanding of animal welfare principles.
  • Master's degree in Zoology or a related field, with a focus on animal behavior, welfare, or conservation.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners.
