Job Summary:

Delaire (Pty) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our staff, guests, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Protect Company Assets: Ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel by maintaining a high visibility presence and preventing all illegal or inappropriate actions.
  • Guest and Visitor Safety: Ensure the safety of guests, visitors, and their property and assets.
  • Access Control: Ensure that no unauthorized or unwanted persons and/or vehicles enter the premises.
  • Loitering Prevention: Prevent loitering of unwanted persons on the premises.
  • Recording and Reporting: Ensure the proper recording of the movement of all persons, vehicles, and goods entering the premises.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all persons seeking admission to the premises are courteously received and assisted.
  • Incident Reporting: Ensure that all security-related requests, complaints, and occurrences are properly recorded.
  • Compliance: Comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Personal Conduct: Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
  • Uniform and Grooming: Ensure that your uniform is clean and in a good state of repair.

Requirements:

  • Registration: Must be registered at PSIRA.
  • Qualification: Minimum of Grade C qualification.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience.
  • References: Contactable references.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills.
  • Shift Work: Need to work shifts.
  • Criminal Record: Clear Criminal Record.
  • Tax Compliance: SARS registered.
  • ID Document: Green barcoded ID or new ID card.
