As a Senior Accountant with Unique Personnel Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, guaranteeing compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Review and process journal entries to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage general ledger reconciliation and review accounts payable and receivable.
  • Contribute to the budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Liaise with external auditors for year-end audits, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training.
  • Manage tax filings, adhering to local tax laws and regulations.
  • Support ad-hoc financial reporting and other projects as needed by senior management.
  • Ensure staff execute processes and procedures in accordance with company policies (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001).
  • Address additional tasks not specified in the job profile due to operational requirements, including audit compliance and ad-hoc duties.

Requirements:

  • Aptitude for Accounting, Finance, or related fields, preferably at Diploma/Degree level.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • A valid Code 8 driver's license is required.
  • Experience in manufacturing or retail industries is advantageous but not necessary.
