Job Title: IT Business Development ManagerJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced IT Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in the IT sector.
Key Responsibilities:- Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify potential clients through outbound sales efforts and inbound leads.
- Leverage CRM software and social media platforms to track and manage leads.
- Conduct research on potential clients to understand their business needs.
- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects to meet sales targets.
- Customer Engagement & Relationship Building:
- Initiate contact with key decision-makers within target companies.
- Nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and upselling opportunities.
- Attend client meetings to present products, understand customer pain points, and suggest solutions.
- Sales Presentations & Product Demos:
- Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical walkthroughs.
- Tailor sales presentations to address specific client needs.
- Proposal Creation & Negotiation:
- Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored proposals and quotes.
- Handle pricing negotiations with clients.
- Manage the closing process to ensure smooth sales finalization.
- Market and Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Maintain knowledge of company product suites.
- Collaborate with product development and marketing teams.
- Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and progress.
- Provide regular reports to management on sales progress and forecasted revenue.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Customer Support & After-Sales Service:
- Provide ongoing support to clients post-sale.
- Work closely with customer support and technical teams to resolve product-related challenges.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts.
- Sales Skills:
- Proven experience in sales, ideally within the IT or technology sector.
- Strong negotiation, closing, and objection-handling abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Technical Aptitude:
- Deep understanding of IT products and services.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and product offerings.
- Familiarity with IT industry trends, challenges, and competitive landscape.
- Relationship Management:
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle customer objections and turn them into opportunities.
- Client-centric approach to sales.
- Organizational & Analytical Skills:
- Strong organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset to assess client needs and market opportunities.
- Software Proficiency:
- Experience with CRM systems and sales tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Education & Experience:
- 2-5 years of sales experience in IT or technology-related industries.

This is a full-time position with occasional travel required for in-person meetings, conferences, or client visits. Estimated salary range $80,000 - $110,000 per annum depending on location and experience.
