About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled External Account Manager to join our team at Rectron. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your sales expertise and drive business growth while building lasting relationships with our customers.
Job Summary
The External Account Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and increase market share. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to identify new business opportunities and drive sales initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and increase market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Manage and grow an assigned customer base, ensuring strong relationships and driving key product lines.
- Assist with customer inquiries and provide timely responses to quotes and requests.
Sales and Pipeline Management
- Understand and effectively utilize Rectron's ERP system to manage orders and quotes.
- Maintain accurate pipeline coverage and work towards achieving monthly sales targets.
- Identify new markets and business opportunities to drive growth across all Rectron brands.
- Collaborate with the Product Management team to explore opportunities for growth and expansion.
Requirements
- Minimum Matric or higher education, preferably in Sales or IT.
- At least 2 years' experience in an IT sales environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 360 and negotiation skills.
- Able to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Self-motivated and driven to exceed sales targets.
