As a Lead Buyer at Stratogo, you will play a key role in driving our business growth through strategic sourcing and procurement practices. We are looking for a seasoned procurement professional who can lead our sourcing efforts, develop strong relationships with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement concepts, principles, and best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and geographies.
Main Responsibilities
  1. Bear commercial responsibility for purchasing activities, engineering representation, project management, and supplier quality.
  2. Collect information from project managers regarding project-related specifications in RFQs and purchase orders to suppliers.
  3. Issue purchase orders and monitor return acknowledgments.
  4. Lead regionally for cost reduction, lead-time, and quality improvement initiatives.
  5. Support order fulfillment, quality, and engineering in organizing deliverables that are late from suppliers.
  6. Support projects/product lines for critical operational issues with regional suppliers, issue claim notifications, and manage recoveries.
  7. Manage invoice release, except for globalized commodities where this is done by the regional commodity leader (RCL).
  8. Ensure on-time delivery of RFQs to suppliers identified in the engineering procurement plan, perform total cost analysis of offers received, and organize/participate in technical-commercial discussions with suppliers.
  9. Conduct negotiations involving engineering representatives, supplier quality/order fulfillment, and project managers.
  10. Be responsible for applying procurement concept and ensuring compliance of business awards with validated regional supplier panels.
  11. Initiate the process owner report (POR).
