The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients, including assisting with the sale of Schedule 1 and 2 medicines, compounding and preparing non-sterile medicines, and accurately interpreting scripts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the sale of Schedule 1 and 2 medicines or scheduled substances
  • Compound, manipulate, or prepare non-sterile medicines according to a formula and standard operating procedures
  • Accurately interpret scripts and act in a professional and responsible manner within the legal requirements
  • Capture script details accurately and verify patients' details on the system
  • Provide information to individuals to promote health and process paperwork necessary for claims submission

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric qualification
  • Basic Pharmacist Assistance qualification
  • Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
  • Working experience on Unisolv
  • Computer literate – MS Office
