About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the specialist/technical nature of life claims assessment and be able to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders. A good grasp of medical conditions and medical terminology is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Detailed analysis of life insurance claims to determine validity and potential payouts
  • Effective communication with clients, brokers, and other relevant parties
  • Collaboration with medical professionals to understand complex medical reports
  • Maintenance of accurate records and adherence to regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-4 years' experience as a Life Assessor or similar role
  • FAIS certification (Further Education and Training Certificate – FETC – IN Short Term Insurance, Long Term Insurance, or Retail Insurance)
  • RE5 qualification
  • Prior work experience in long term insurance services, financial services, or an insurance company would be advantageous
  • A medical qualification would be an asset
