Job Overview

You will be responsible for undertaking general administration and claims handling duties for the Personal Injury Claims department within a timely manner and in line with company procedures. The successful candidate should have excellent time management and organization skills with the ability to prioritize own work.

The role involves conducting initial enquiries on TPI Direct Claimants, making payments to TPIs who are party to the subrogation agreement via the verify portal, and managing through to settlement - Tariff only whiplash claims with or without associated losses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Import new claims into the system portals, and/or manually upload.
  • Conduct AskCue PI and Cache checks on all appropriate claims.
  • Allocate new claim files to claims handlers in accordance with guidelines.
  • Make payments on any bordereaux/bulk payment arrangements to suppliers.
  • Provide ad hoc support to PI claims handlers and team leaders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of Grade 12/Matric qualification or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification.
  • Experience of working in an administrative role.
  • Previous experience in the motor insurance industry.
