Position Overview: The IIE Varsity College Sandton Campus is looking for qualified individuals in the Commerce field to enhance the teaching and research capabilities within the Faculty of Management Studies. The roles available include:

  • Risk Management 3A
  • Risk Management 3B

Objective of the Role:

The main objective of this role is to deliver high-quality facilitation and lecturing on relevant qualifications, alongside all associated academic responsibilities, including student engagement and support, to foster student success and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating Lectures
  • Assessment and Marking
  • Providing Student Support

Required Competencies:

  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Strong Organizational Skills
  • Time Management Abilities

Essential Qualifications:

Preferred:

  • Honours in Enterprise Risk Management or Honours in Risk Management

Alternatively:

  • Honours in a business-related field (e.g., enterprise risk management, entrepreneurship, supply chain, or project management) with Enterprise Risk Management completed to the third-year level;
or
  • Bachelor's degree in Enterprise Risk Management or a related field (e.g., entrepreneurship, supply chain, or project management) to the third-year level, accompanied by an MBA or a Postgraduate Diploma in Business or Education.

Experience Requirements:

  • Professional experience in commerce.
  • Teaching experience in Enterprise Risk Management, risk management, financial, hazard, operational, or strategic risk assessment, business, supply chain, or project management.
  • Experience in risk analysis and optimization within operational processes.

Working Conditions:

  • This is an Independent Contractor position.
