Job Title: Lecturer in Brand Management

Varsity College, a leading educational brand, is seeking a qualified Lecturer in Brand Management to strengthen its teaching and research capabilities in the Faculty of Management Studies department.

Job Purpose:

The primary purpose of this position is to deliver effective facilitation/lecturing on qualifications and all associated academic activities that promote student success and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lecturing/Facilitation: Deliver high-quality lectures and facilitate student learning in the field of Brand Management.
  • Marking: Assess student assignments and exams to ensure academic integrity and quality.
  • Student Support: Provide guidance and support to students to enhance their academic performance and overall experience.
Competencies Required:
  • Communications skills: Effective communication is essential for delivering lectures, marking assignments, and providing student support.
  • Organisational skills: The ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of organisation is crucial for this role.
  • Time management: The Lecturer must be able to manage their time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:

The ideal candidate should hold an Honours degree in Marketing Management, Brand Management, or a related field, with a strong background in financial management or accounting.

Alternatively, the candidate may hold an Honours degree in Financial Management or Economics, with a strong background in Brand Management or Marketing Management.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:
  • Industry experience in commerce: The candidate should have a strong background in the field of commerce, with experience in marketing management, marketing research, and brand evaluation.
  • Lecturing experience: The candidate should have experience in lecturing or teaching in a higher education institution, with a strong background in financial management or risk management.
Working Conditions:
  • This is an Independent Contractor role.
  • The position is part-time.
