Job Summary

A Business Development Representative is responsible for driving brand awareness and revenue growth through on-site, face-to-face interaction with clients. They work closely with sales teams and marketing managers to promote lead generation and create upsell opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to maximize profitability within their sales territory
  • Liaising between buyers and sellers to provide valuable information about products and services
  • Working closely with sales teams to promote lead generation and create upsell opportunities

Requirements

PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS

  • Matric or NQF equivalent
  • 2 years' experience in a sales role with a track record of exceeding revenue sales targets within the telecommunication/retail sector
  • 1 year's experience in field services, retail sales or similar role may be beneficial
