Service Excellence Leader

About the Job:
">We are seeking a seasoned Service Excellence Leader to join our team at Virgin Active South Africa Pty Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and service improvements across all touchpoints.

- Main Responsibilities:">
- ">
- Develop and implement operational/service comms strategies to ensure seamless communication with members, working closely with the Customer Engagement manager and Head of Member Engagement and Retention.">
- Manage and oversee the resolution of escalated queries from members, internal teams, and external bodies, such as the Consumer Ombudsman.">
- Coordinate with the Social Media team to ensure social media content aligns with member communication strategies and resolves social media escalations in a timely and professional manner.">
- Develop and manage the Operational/Service Comms calendar for all proactive comms going to members, ensuring comms are sent at convenient times for members while managing workflow volumes optimally for the central call center.">
Key Requirements:
">- ">
- A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in customer service, communications, or operations, ideally in the wellness, fitness, or hospitality industry.">
- Demonstrated leadership experience, either managing teams or leading cross-functional projects, with a focus on delivering operational excellence and service improvements.">
- Experience in managing communications (both proactive and reactive) for large, diverse member/customer bases.">
- Strong VASA knowledge of systems and ability to work independently with initiative and proactivity.">
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to energize people and teams, lead, and drive change.">
