The Opportunity

A highly experienced and skilled Client Director is required to join OMAI's Client Markets team. This individual will be responsible for raising capital from institutional investors, including pension funds, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds, and family offices.

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding OMAI's investor base, developing long-term client relationships, and driving fundraising efforts across our differentiated investment capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a strategic plan to raise capital from institutional investors for existing and new funds.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with quality LPs, identifying new fundraising opportunities.
  3. Lead and support the end-to-end fundraising process, including investor due diligence, roadshows, and closing processes.

Requirements

  1. 7+ years of experience in institutional sales, investor relations, or capital raising within alternative investments or investment banking.
  2. Strong network of institutional investors, with a track record of successful capital raising.
  3. Deep understanding of alternative fund structures, investment strategies, and the LP-GP landscape.
  4. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex investment strategies clearly.
  5. Highly motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  6. Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (MBA/CFA a plus).
  7. Meet FAIS fit and proper requirements for an Authorised Representative.
