Business Development Sales Professional

About the Role
Complement Recruitment is seeking an experienced Business Development Sales Professional to join their team in Pinetown, Durban. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in external sales from a technical manufacturing industry.
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and driven individual to nurture existing relationships and grow new business accounts in KZN and potentially Africa. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be well-presented, and able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Nurture existing client relationships and grow new business accounts
- Achieve monthly targets and plan daily activities
- Build strong relationships with clients in specific areas
- Prospect and conduct needs analyses and surveys
- Foster customer satisfaction and smooth running of the business
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Grade 12; Tertiary: Sales & Marketing Qualification (advantageous)
- Valid Code EB or higher driver's license and company car
- 2 Years experience in external sales from a technical manufacturing industry
- Excellent time-management and self-management skills
- Computer literacy and ability to work independently
Preferred Industry Experience
Petrochemical, Refinery, Pulp and Paper, Sugar, Glass, Brick, Cement, Ceramic, Aluminium, and Refractory Industries.
Compensation
The salary package includes a basic salary, commission, cell phone, fuel, and company car. Estimated annual salary: R850,000 - R1,100,000.
