Dry Goods Warehouse Specialist

Status Staffing is seeking a skilled Dry Goods Warehouse Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a stores role within a similar environment and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for receiving and returning dry goods, ensuring accurate stock levels, and maintaining a high level of quality control.

The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. If you are a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about inventory management, we encourage you to apply.

Estimated salary: R450,000 - R550,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and processing dry goods shipments, including verifying quantities and checking for damage
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and conducting regular stocktakes
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient stock rotation and minimize stock discrepancies
  • Providing exceptional customer service and responding to queries from clients and suppliers
Requirements:
  • Matric (Grade 12) qualification
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a stores role within a similar environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Experience with SAGE software
  • Strong skills in Time Management, Monitoring, Service Orientation, and Good Judgement and Decisions
  • Knowledge of stores and stock take procedures
  • Strong Product knowledge
