The Small Enterprise Development Agency is seeking a highly motivated and organized Business Development Assistant to join its team. As a Business Development Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and facilitation assistance to the Business Advisors.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Provide administrative support to the Business Advisors in executing their work plans.
  2. Conduct basic assessments with clients to identify their business needs.
  3. Assist with outreach programs to promote the agency's services.
  4. Support the profiling and establishment of needs for SMMEs by utilizing SEDA tools.
  5. Participate in the screening of clients for further assistance.

Required Qualifications:

A matric certificate (NQF 4) and a three-year tertiary qualification in Industrial Engineering / Operations Management / Production Management / Business Management (NQF Level 5) are required for this position.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary for data entry and management.
  • Office management skills will be an advantage in maintaining a well-organized workspace.
