As a Patient Health Advocate Specialist, you will play a vital role in educating and supporting members with HIV, empowering them to manage their disease effectively and improve their health outcomes.
This challenging yet rewarding position involves providing impactful telephonic and written counseling, education, and support to allocated clients, thereby reducing hospital admissions and risk factors.
You will also be responsible for completing required administration and case information on assigned cases to standard and within deadline, handling and resolving medical and claim-related fund queries, and identifying high-risk patients and clients who may require additional support from alternative professionals.
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a hospital/clinic or managed care setting, providing patient care, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field.
We are looking for an individual who possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and can speak, read, and write Xitsonga, Venda, and Sesotho fluently.
The salary for this position is estimated at R350,000 - R450,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
