Job Summary:

As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and expediting procurement components and raw materials required for production from national and international suppliers at optimum total cost and security of supply to business requirements taking into account price, quality, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure components and raw materials from national and international suppliers
  • Ensure continuity of supply and optimize total cost
  • Take into account price, quality, and delivery when making procurement decisions
  • Provide technical support to ensure smooth procurement process

Requirements:

  • Purchasing Diploma or Degree
  • Matric
  • 2-3 years Stores/Stock Control Experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years purchasing experience within a mining or manufacturing environment
  • Technical Background
  • Proficient in MS Office and Pastel Partner
  • A legal driver's license
