Job Description

Job Title: Technical Buyer/Procurement Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Buyer/Procurement Coordinator to join our team. This role will involve providing technical support and expediting procurement components and raw materials from national and international suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to procurement teams to ensure quality and delivery of components and raw materials.
  • Expedite procurement of components and raw materials from national and international suppliers.
  • Ensure continuity of supply by identifying and mitigating potential supply chain risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth procurement processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices and delivery terms.

Requirements:

  • Purchasing Diploma or Degree (advantageous)
  • Matric
  • 2-3 years Stores/Stock Control Experience (essential)
  • Minimum 2-3 years purchasing experience in a mining or manufacturing environment
  • Technical background with ability to identify and understand technical information
  • Proficient in MS Office and Pastel Partner
  • Legal driver's license
