About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Purchasing Specialist with a strong background in purchasing, stock control, and procurement. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials, negotiating prices, and managing relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing and purchasing of goods and services from reputable suppliers
  • Negotiating prices and contracts to secure the best deals
  • Managing inventory levels and ensuring efficient stock control
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Providing regular reports and updates on purchasing activities and performance metrics
Requirements
  • Degree of Diploma in Procurement or related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years purchasing experience within a mining or manufacturing environment or similar industry
  • 2-3 years stores and stock control experience essential
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and Pastel
  • Valid driver's license
