The key purpose of this role is to carry out all the required quality checks in a designated area, meeting the prescribed frequency and outputs as per SAB quality and process standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others in a designated area
  • Operating equipment in packaging process areas according to VPO standards
  • Constantly reviewing process performance against target, and recording short stops and correcting any out of controls using the VPO tools
  • Monitoring compliance to FS checks as described in the FS management system
Maintenance of Plant and Equipment:
  • Carrying out autonomous operations as defined for the process areas
  • Operate equipment according to SOPs
  • Owner of the performance of the assigned equipment, including input and output, process indicators and its uptime
Quality Control and Analysis:
  • Responsible for quality packaged product within designated work area
  • Responsible for executing required quality checks and analyses, and recording the results on the appropriate information system
