Duties & Responsibilities
  • Implement quality control measures, investigate customer complaints, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Conduct regular audits, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance manager to ensure compliance with BRCGS standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff members, enhancing their skills and knowledge in quality control and related areas.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve our quality control processes.
Requirements
  • Grade 12, tertiary qualification; minimum diploma in packaging, food safety, quality or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and own transport for traveling to clients and branches.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the wine industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
