Financial Transaction Management

Office & Co is seeking a skilled Financial Transaction Specialist to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions related to creditors and debtors.

Key responsibilities include processing invoices in a timely manner, reconciling discrepancies, and preparing monthly reports on accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Reporting and Auditing

The ideal candidate will assist in financial audits by providing necessary documentation and information, and communicate effectively with clients and vendors to resolve any discrepancies in billing or payments.

Data Entry and Invoice Management

Accurate data entry into the Sage accounting system is crucial, as well as processing and verifying incoming and outgoing invoices to ensure compliance with company policy.

Payment Processing and Administration

The successful candidate will assist in processing payments to vendors and creditors, manage payment schedules, and ensure timely transaction completion.

Administrative Support

Providing administrative support as needed in the finance department, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, specifically in creditors and debtors.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in accounting software Sage Accounting) and MS Office.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
