About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced supply chain professional to join our team as a Supply Chain Planning Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the implementation of operating plans, ensuring cross-functional teams contribute to sales strategies and trade plans.
  • Ensure effective integration and communication with stakeholders, driving teams to execute sales strategies and optimize KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Commercial to understand department strategies, providing guidance on generating sales plans and promoting budget achievement.
  • Work closely with New Product Development teams to ensure timeous execution of new product launches, sharing promotional forecasts with vendors.
  • Identify and address root causes of poor strike rate, working with vendors and Commercial to implement solutions.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Analytics or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in supply chain planning, with 1 year in Pick n Pay.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, including SAP ERP, F&R, Analysis, and Power BI.
  • Economics and market dynamics expertise, understanding cost-to-serve and commercial strategy.
