About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for controlling all areas of the manufacturing facility, managing personnel and labor relations, and ensuring plant operations run smoothly.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct thorough reviews of current processes and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement and increase efficiency.
- Plan and monitor site operations to ensure work is executed within contractual programs and budgets allowed.
- Maintain positive industrial relations and handle grievances in accordance with company policy.
- Ensure adequate tools, equipment, and materials are available on site and proper controls are maintained.
- Allocate and control man-hours expended and costs incurred effectively.
- Implement and monitor the Management Control System as required.
- Protect the company's contractual and commercial positions by meeting contractual requirements.
- Maintain company assets allocated to individual contracts or projects safely and properly.
- Ensure compliance with company policy and procedures among site personnel.
- Assess progress accurately at predetermined intervals and prepare interim and final billings.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An engineering background, particularly in Process, Chemical, or Operations discipline.
- A diploma or degree with substantial manufacturing experience.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strategic planning skills.
- Financial and business management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority issues and perform under pressure.
- Experience in the FMCG/Manufacturing industry.
