Strategic Personnel is seeking a highly skilled Food Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our team in the production of high-quality food products. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring that all processes are efficient and effective.
Key Responsibilities- Safety and Compliance: Ensure full compliance with all national OHS Act requirements and Occupational Health and Safety & Food Safety regulations and policies.
- Maintenance and Asset Management: Responsible and accountable for maintenance in your department.
- Quality Control: Ensure all products are manufactured to the organisation's Quality process and procedure and product specifications as per production plan requirements.
- Team Leadership: Manage direct reports according to the basic employment regulations, company policies and prescribed demonstrated HR and operations best practices.
In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also be responsible for:
- Productivity Improvement: Identify and eliminate areas of waste/loss buckets and optimize labour complement and utilization to give best quality of product at minimum cost.
- Inventory Management: Effectively manage inventory levels in liaison with the Warehouse department.
- Continuous Improvement: Assist with continuous improvement projects till successful completion.
We are offering a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
