About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our Education team in Sub-Saharan Africa. As the Head of Education for this region, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to drive adoption and usage of Google for Education solutions across the region.

You will work closely with our internal teams, including Sales Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Public Policy, to align on long-term strategy and short-term execution. Your primary focus will be on expanding the presence of Google for Education across the region, driving adoption and usage of our solutions, and being the public face of the Education team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategy to drive adoption and usage of Google for Education solutions across Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Ministries of Education, UNICEF, World Bank, and other external stakeholders.
  • Work with our in-country Government Affairs and Public Policy team to develop relationships and case studies for the SSA region.
  • Support, develop, and onboard our SSA partners to achieve our go-to-market goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to launch or make available our solutions locally, support localization, and create business cases to gather more support.
