Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Brand Manager to join the marketing team of a leading pet care retail company, Absolute Pets, where you will play a key role in managing and coordinating Private Label brands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and set up events at store and shopping centres, ensuring brand standards are adhered to at every event.
  • Manage the brand's participation at other events, including preparing resources, branding, and marketing material, and liaising with event organisers.
  • Attend some store events and shopping centre events, promoting the brand and products.
  • Build and manage relationships with all stakeholders, internal and external, including animal welfare organizations, breeders, vets, animal nutritionists, and in-store advisers.
  • Ensure in-store advisers are trained on private label products and coordinate training with the Company training department.
  • Drive sales of the private label products in Company stores, establishing new sales channels and growing sales at third-party partners and stockists.
  • Monitor and assess sales of the brand across stores, drilling down into all products listed under the brand, and help formulate a plan of action to drive sales.
  • Assist with customer queries regarding the brand's products, providing excellent customer service via email and telephone.
Capabilities and Strengths
  • Pet lover with a strong passion for the industry.
  • Organized and meticulous, with high attention to detail and excellent planning skills.
  • Great time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
  • Experience in the premium pet care industry and knowledge of pet nutrition and products is an advantage.
  • Experience in a marketing team or role is preferred, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
